Abstract

This reflection presents a global, national and local scenario experienced during lockdown, which shows how COVID-19 has meant a stagnation in the education of students from the poorest sectors. The aim of this text is to visualize the position of Fe y Alegría (Ecuador), during this emergency situation, as a redoubt from where students have been able to continue with their teaching-learning process, overcoming the border of educational exclusion seen from different spheres: government policies, technological tools, connectivity, motivation, family‘s emptiness; in order to offer a horizon of hope, from which to meditate on the need for quality education that breaks the barriers of “ignorance” (the poor of today) and bets on inclusion at all levels.
