Abstract

Faced with the challenge of consolidating research committed to social change, participatory action research (PAR) is configured as an alternative to motivate educators to self-concept as reflective agents, capable of bringing about the changes required in the educational field. Within these reflections, it is necessary to expand the critical analysis on the role of research in education, the scope and limitations that it faces.
